A team of Agriculture and Environment Awareness Center visited 88th Guru Nanak Memorial Forest in village Kalewal (near Sultanpur Lodhi) on 7 May 2022. This forest was planted on half acre of land on 18 July 2021 by Karsewa Khadur Sahib. Land for planting this small forest was spared by a family of farmers from village Kalewal, which had decided to return a portion of their land to the nature. The family was earlier cultivating this land but now it is left for the nature and trees are planted on it.
