Bhupinder Singh of Matta village near Jaitu- Kotkapura road in Faridkot district stores rain water in a tank in his courtyard after filtering it with a rooftop rainwater harvesting filters. After filling the tank, he uses excess water to recharge ground water. A team of Agriculture and Environment Center met Bhupinder Singh during Jal Chetna Yatra to learn about this technique.
